최근 젓가락의 우수성이 입증이 되면서 젓가락 문화권에서의 ‘올바른 젓가락 사용’에 대하여 관심이 커지고 있고 서양에서도 큰 관심을 나타내고 있다. 젓가락은 단순히 음식을 먹을 때 활용하는 수단이 아니다. 한․중․일의 젓가락 사용은 많이 알려진 바와 같이 재질 및 사용방법에 이르기까지 차이가 많으며, 각국의 문화적 특성을 담은 각종 예의가 숨어있다. 우리는 쇠젓가락질을 통해 밥상머리에서 배우는 각종 예의와 범절을 통해 전통 문화를 계승 하고, 두뇌를 개발하고 손기술을 자연스럽게 습득하는 기회를 얻었다. 우리 고유의 쇠젓가락이 최근에 많이 사라지고 있고 사람들이 올바른 젓가락 사용법을 모르는 것을 보면 아쉽다. 이제부터라도 우리의 쇠젓가락 문화를 아끼고 보전해야하겠다.
Abstract
Recently, interest in "precise use of chopsticks" has been growing in the chopsticks culture as the excellence of chopsticks has been proven, and it is showing great interest in the West. Chopsticks are not simply a means of eating food. The use of chopsticks by Korea, China and Japan, as is well known, varies widely from materials to methods of use, and there are a variety of manners that contain cultural characteristics of each country. Through the use of iron chopsticks, we have had the opportunity to inherit the traditional culture, to develop the brain, and to naturally learn the hand techniques through various courtesies and tricks learned in the table. It is sad to know that Korea's own chopsticks have recently disappeared and that people can not use them properly. From now on,, we should value and preserve the iron chopsticks culture.
