대학교의 학위과정으로 진행하는 평생교육단과대학의 문제점과 어려움에 대한 고찰 - 국립 A대학에서 평생교육단과대학 운영 사례를 중심으로

2016년 국가에서 의욕적으로 출발한 대학교 내에 단과대학으로 평생교육을 지원하겠다는 정책이, 지방의 국립대학교에서 실패로 돌아가면서 무너졌다. 2016년 실시된 ‘평생교육단과대학’ 지원사업의 첫 지원 대상으로 선정된 대학 중에 실패한 첫 사례이고, 선정된 9개 대학 중에 국립대학 4곳은 대학의 사회적 책무, 국가의 평생교육에 관한 지원의 측면에서 볼 때, 유지가 되어야 했음에도 불구하고, 실패로 결론지어지면서, 정부의 정책이 문제인지, 대학의 운영이 문제인지 아니면 그 무엇도 아니고 시대적 소명과 사회적 분위기의 문제인지를 파악하고자 본 논문을 작성하였다. 단과대학을 처음 설립할 때, 단과대학의 실제 운영 책임자로서의 경험을 바탕으로 그 이유와 원인을 꼼꼼하게 살펴보고자 하였다. 따라서 그 실패의 원인은 제도적인 문제, 학교의 지원, 구성원 및 사회적 인식, 학생들의 요구와 대학 운영의 괴리 등에서 찾을 수 있었고, 그 구체적인 사례와 향후 정부 정책의 추진 방안, 그리고 대학교에서 학위과정으로의 평생교육의 효율적인 추진 방법에 대해서 제언하고자 한다.
Abstract
In 2016, the government's ambitious policy of supporting lifelong education through universities and colleges collapsed as local national universities failed. This is the first case of failure among the universities selected for the first support of the 'Lifelong Education College Support Project' conducted in 2016, and among the 9 universities selected, 4 national universities are in compliance with the university's social responsibility and the country's support for lifelong education. From the perspective, although it should have been maintained, it was concluded as a failure. This paper was written to understand whether the problem was the government's policy, the operation of the university, or nothing else, but the calling of the times and the social atmosphere. Written. When the college was first established, I set out to examine carefully the reasons and causes, drawing on my experience as the person directly responsible for its day-to-day operation. He also served as dean along with running the college, and as an author who understands everything about 'lifelong education colleges' from beginning to end, he We wanted to look closely at the reasons and causes. Therefore, the cause of the failure could be found in institutional problems, school support, members and social awareness, and the gap between students' demands and university operations, and through specific examples, future government policy implementation plans, and degree programs at universities, I would like to describe how to promote lifelong education.
