Abstract

self‐cultivation theory is the important part of Zhuzi’s theory.The concrete way of Self‐cultivation is the daily moral practice, including perception, language activities, and it can be referred to as Self‐cultivation in practice, which is the focus and characteristics of Zhu Xi's Self‐cultivation theory. If self‐cultivation’s efforts do s good job, one psychological state of respect which will become the saints personality characteristics can be achieved,; on the other hand, the inherent virtue which come from heaven principles can be achieved. whether it is for the growth of individual moral life or for the maintain the Confucian social existence, Zhuzi’s self‐cultivation theory has the fundamental value.
