華城 隆健陵-龍珠寺 지역 역사문화적 배경과 그 의미 - 최근의 유적발굴조사 내용을 중심으로

Abstract

Surrondings of Yungkeon royal tombs and Yongju buddist Temple are ecologically very good places. It was decided to built Royal tombs in Choseon dynasty as a viewpont of the theory of division based on topography. From prehistoric age to recent time, not only many people dwelled at this place, but also in medieval age a castle was built, which was the crnter of the administration and militery affairs. Recently those obvious facts are being clarified by the excavations. Untill now, dwelling sites of the bronze age, producing site of the Proto three-kingdom age, dwelling site and tombs of ancient age, castle of medieval age and recent time were excavated. By dint of these excavations, cultural characters of the each age are being made clear continously. From the such a natural and cultural background, they could built the Yunggeon royal tombs and Yongju buddist Temple at the rulling time of great king Jeonjo in late Choseon dynasty. But because, ignoring the affluent historical and cultural contents, the govermment planed to build a apartments, now the NGO named Kyunggi cultural actions protest strongly. We hope to build a policy to preserve natural environment, and to make practical applications of the historical and cultural characteristics of this place.
