This paper discusses on characteristics of semantic scope from the angle of the modern Chinese lexicology. This paper describes the Coagulable Ability, Phrase structural Ability and Cultural Ability of semantic scope in Chinese Idiom from the angle of it's usage in order to further understand the complicated semantics in Chinese idiom. This paper discusses the characteristics of Semantic Scope in Chinese Idiom on the basis of errors which entry-level Korean students commonly make while using the Chinese idioms.
Abstract
This paper discusses on characteristics of semantic scope from the angle of the modern Chinese lexicology.
