Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop and validate the Korean version of Social Sexual Behavior Scale(SSBS-K). In the first step of developing the SSBS-K, we reviewed SSBS scales that was already developed and validated to measure SSBS in foreign studies and then we translated them into Korean and examined the content validity of them with HR experts. In the second step of validating the SSBS-K, we examined the reliability and various validity of the SSBS-K using the responses of 185 workers from a variety of organizations in Korea. First, we examined Cronbach's α value to validate the reliability of the SSBS-K. Second, we conducted an exploratory factor analysis and confirmed factor analysis to validate the construct validity of the SSBS-K. Third, we conducted confirmed factor analyses and x² difference tests of each measurement model that include the SSBS-K and other Sexual harassment to validate the discriminant validity of the SSBS-K. In the previous research, it was verified that the SSBS was positively influenced by the supervisor identification. As a result, it was found that the SSBS-K could be the most suitable scale to measure SSBS in Korea. The implication of this study is to prepare the ground for future researches on the SSBS in Korea.
