함안 말이산고분군의 계층성과 마장의 변천

Abstract

In the Marisan Ancient Tombs at the of Haman, two groups of tombs with a length of more than 9 meters and a width of more than 160 centimeters were divided into ultra-large tombs(Ⅰ), and tombs with a length of 6 to 9 meters and a width of 120 to 160 centimeters were divided into large tombs(Ⅱ). From the middle of the 5th century to the first half of the 6th century, the characteristics of horse trapping unearthed in each stage　are divided into three stages, and the changes in horse trappings seen in the hierarchy are investigated. As a result, in the first stage, it is unclear whether the ultra-large type(Ⅰ) is superior to the large type(Ⅱ) due to the material of the horse trappings or the possession of a large number set of horse trappings. In the second stage, there is a clear hierarchical difference between ultra-large type(Ⅰ) and large type(Ⅱ), and various exchanges and influences with other regions such as Silla and Daegaya can be envisaged from the form of horse strap pendent. Specifically, the ultra-large type(Ⅰ) consists of 1)a set of horse trappings centered on the circular and fishtail shaped iron base metal copper coating, and Individual elements such as saddle, Unzu and ornaments include gilt-bronze or iron-bronze copper coating.　2)Two or more sets of multiple sets are composed of the circular and fishtail shaped or the shape of the heart made of iron and silver, and the horse helmet and horse armor are accompanied together. On the other hand, the large type（Ⅱ） consists of 3)two or more sets of centered on the circular and fishtail shaped made of iron and silver, and does not accompany horse helmet and horse armor. 4)A set of horse trappings is based on the shape of the heart or the shape of the sword tip made of iron and silver. In the case of the third stage, as in the previous stage, the biggest difference can be seen in horse trappings restored with horse strap pendents made of iron-metal copper or iron-metal silver coating at the center. It is two or more sets of compound sets of horse trappings centered on horse strap pendents made of iron-metal copper coating among the ultra-large type(Ⅰ). Other than that, it is difficult to distinguish between ultra-large type(Ⅰ) and large type（Ⅱ）by horse trappings or hierarchical differentiation.
