Abstract

It have identified how the burial phase of the harness changes over time depending on the location where the harness was excavated from the tomb, covering the southern and northern tombs of Hwangnamdaechong and Cheonmachong among the tombs of stone and wooden in Gyeongju. Inside the tomb, the main chamber, the upper part of the wooden chamber, the stone altar, and the inner part of the seal were named as the ritual space, and the burial site, burial chamber, and burial goods collection chest were named as the burial space. Wooden steel plate-covered stirrups were classified in form and divided into three periods. Representative remains were selected for each stage, and 110 mounds of Hwangnam-dong were selected in the first stage, the southern and northern tombs of Hwangnamdaechong in the second stage, and the Cheonmachong in the third stage. As a result, all the harnesses of the first stage are checked in the ritual space and the burial space. During this period, the bit, which can be controlled by riding a horse, is used as a tribute. In addition, among the two apricots that decorate one's hips-decorate, the heart-shaped apricot is considered a tribute, and the flattened fish tail-shaped apricot is considered a daily product after death. In the second period, the inner part of the seal, the stone altar of the main chamber, and the upper part of the wooden chamber are used as ritual spaces. As a burial space, a burial chamber is still used. In the newly introduced ritual space, you can see the combination of elliptical fish tail-shaped apricot and Unju with standing pillar in common. During this period, these are representative symbols of Silla's harnesses. At the southern tomb of Hwangnamdaechong, there are many objects covering the area around the horse's hips. In the case of the northern tomb of Hwangnamdaechong, the horse and rider can also pay attention to the eyes that have been focused on the bottom of the horse, using harnesses of various materials. In addition, a number of horses appear in the multi-horse harness set at ancestral rites or ceremonies. The bell of a horse is used to satisfy visual and acoustic effects at the same time. In the burial space at this time of year, the burial of harnesses (the southern tomb of Hwangnamdaechong) and the burial of non-buried ones (the northern tomb of Hwangnamdaechong) coexist. The biological gender of the mourners can be predicted through the social perception of the harness at that time. In the third stage, apricot and unju used in the previous stage are not found in the ritual space. Saddles, bits, stirrups, and other things necessary for riding on horseback, as well as strange creatures decorate the horse's hips. It is believed that the ritual or ritual ceremony has changed. The burial space can also be seen as a set of harnesses in the same way as in the previous stage. However, bell of a horse and shodomuro are emerging. It can be predicted that the decorations of the harnesses used in everyday life at that time have changed.
