문학 텍스트에 나타난 자기 구성 방식에 대한 시론(試論) : 「창조」「폐허」「백조」의 사랑의 담론을 중심으로

Abstract

Literary coterie magazines of 1920’s demanded the writing of express the self, different from the previous period. This demand made writers express their self and their writings distinguished from writings which emphasized the nation and the love for humanity. As a rlesult, the confessional writing appeared and it was suitable for observing and explore the self. This new writing chooses writers' desire and imagination for self-identification and confessional love story as a subject matter. However, writer who tells love story become to recognize that there were inevitable gap between the desire for one body and the object for the desire. This recognition makes the writer explore his anguish, that is, his internal world. Finally the writer experiences the moment of confront self. The writer abstains from tenacity for unfilled object and the desire for possession of the body in the discourse of love when he realizes that the desire for satisfying the lack cannot exist in the external world. At this time, writer discovers the rational self and his passion for an unfilled love satisfies the desire in the imaginative love. This imagination makes writer experience that he can be full of images and reverberation. He realizes that this moment of fulfillment is the one of passion of life which he has seeked for. This becomes self-union(자기합일) in the space of spirit only for the rational being who can abstain from the corporal love to restrict the desire as the object of reality. This space of spirit means expressing the self itself, that is, the imagination, which have inclination of narcissism to love the self. This tendency of narcissism becomes the energy of self-fashioning which binds and incorporates the external world with individuality of one’s self. So the discours of love can be called as the writing which establishes the self.
