1920년대 同人誌 詩 연구－<폐허>, <백조>를 중심으로－

Abstract

The poems which appeared in Peyheo(1920～1921) and Baekjo(1922～1923) are positioned in an exclusive and alienated sphere not only in modern Korean literary history, but also in 1920s' literary coterie magazines. The poets like Park, Young-hee, Hong, Sa-yong, and Yi, Sang-hwa endeavored to recognize the existence of themselves through a vareity of inner experiences and phantasmal adventures. Furthermore, they make an effort to encapsulate unknown circumstances which has occurred in their inner world. It can be said that their poetical themes like ‘emotion’, ‘dreams’, ‘darkness’, ‘sensuality’, and ‘love’, the highest form of feelings, are the artistic figures which are rooted in strong desire for inner experience. The poets try to deepen and extend the range of poetic language through the search for the sphere that could be insignificant, non-logical, and incomprehensible and in the process of poetic creativity. They could be evaluated not as a literary historical achievement or resultness but as a meaningful stage where they develop their identity as a modern poet and systemize an understanding of modern poetic genre.
