본 연구에서는 산업연관분석을 통해 산림휴양산업이 국가경제에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다.이를 위해 산림휴양산업의 경제적 파급효과를 현재수준과 활성화수준으로 나누어 비교분석하였으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 현재시점의 산림휴양산업의 경제적 파급효과는 총지출 11.8조 원에 달하며 이로 인한 경제적 파급효과는 생산유발 203.8조원, 취업유발 145천명, 부가가치유발 77조 원에 이르는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째,산림휴양산업이 활성화가 되었을 때(이용객 10% 증가, 1인당 지출 일반여행수준으로 확대 달성)의 경제적 파급효과는 총지출액은 25.8조 원까지 증가할 것으로 예상되며, 이에 따른 경제적 파급효과도 생산 443.4조원, 취업31만 8천명, 부가가치 166.9조원 등 현재 대비 약 2.2배 증가할 것으로 추정되었다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 향후 산림휴양산업 활성화를 위한 정책개발의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
This study was conducted to estimate the economic impacts of forest recreation industry on the whole economy using Input-Output table. For this purpose, this study compared the economic impacts of forest recreation industry between present and activation level. The results were as follows. First, the total expenditures amount to 11.8 trillion KRW at present level, and it generated 203.8 Trillion KRW of production, 146 thousand person of new jobs, 77 trillion KRW of value added. Compared to this, if the goal is achieved(Visitor increased 10%, forest recreation expenditure per person increased to general tourism level), the total expenditures amount to 25.8 trillion KRW, and it generated 443.4 Trillion KRW of production, 318 thousand person of new jobs, 166.9 trillion KRW of value added which has doubled compared to present level. The findings of this research would feed into the development of forest recreation policy.
