본 연구는 지리산국립공원이 지역경제에 미치는 파급효과를 정량적으로 평가하고, 이를 바탕으로 지역주민이 자발적으로 환경을 보전하며, 갈등주체 간의 관계개선과 사회적 인식을 제고할 수 있는 전략적 수단을 발굴하는데 그 목적이 있다. 그 결과 전국파급효과는 생산파급액은 2,770억원, 소득파급액 309억원, 부가가치 파급액 991억원, 고용파급 3,103명으로 나타났으며, 도내 파급효과는 생산파급액은 1,343억원, 소득파급액은 687억원, 부가가치 파급액 은 556억원, 고용파급 2,304명으로 나타났으며, 지리산국립공원 인근지역 파급효과는 생산파급 929억원, 소득파급 146억원, 부가가치 파급은 457억원, 고용파급 1,514명으로 나타났다.
Abstract
This study was estimating the ripple effects on the reginonal economy of Jirisan National Park using Regional Input-Output analysis, because of giving the justifiability of nature conservation policy, understanding stake holders, role and function of Nation Park. The results of the study in National Park area, indicate that in the year visitors’ expenditures to Jirisan National Park generated output impact of 930 billion won, income impact of 146 billion won, value-added impact of 458 billion won, and employment impact of 1,515 full-time equivalent gobs. In Jeolla, indicate output impact of 1,344 billion won, income impact of 221 billion won, value-added impact of 672 billion won, and employment impact of 2,292 full-time equivalent gobs, and In the nation, indicate output impact of 2,770 billion won, income impact of 309 billion won, value-added impact of 991 billion won, and employment impact of 3,104 full-time equivalent gobs.
