20世纪90年代以来，第一次世界大战期间的华工问题得到中外学者越来 越多的关注。随着各国档案、一战时期私人信函、战后回忆录等资料的不断发掘, 学界对华工问题的理解和研究不断加深，其中华工的招募与各国对待华工的看法、 华工与当地社会的互动与比较研究、华工的教育自治与思想活动等方面形成了较丰 富的研究成果。另一方面，一战华工问题是一个特殊历史背景下的较为复杂的研究 议题，各国学者由于研究视角、文献选取乃至意识形态等方面因素的限制，在研究 中仍存在一些盲点与争议，一战华工问题依然是一个需要学界给予更多重视的历史问题。
Abstract
Since the 1990s, the issue of Chinese laborer during the First World War has attracted more and more attention from Chinese and foreign scholars. On the one hand, with the continuous exposure of archives, personal letters during the First World War and post-war memoirs of various countries, the academic circles have deepened their understanding and research on the issue of Chinese workers, among which rich research results have been formed in the aspects of the recruitment of Chinese workers and the views of various countries on Chinese workers, the interaction and comparative research between Chinese workers and local society, the educational autonomy and ideological activities of Chinese workers, etc. On the other hand, the issue of Chinese workers in World War I is a complicated research topic under a special historical background. The limitation of research perspective, literature selection and even ideology have led to blind spots and disputes in research among scholars all over the world, making the issue still a historical problem that needs more attention from academic circles.
