코퍼스를 활용한 한국어 대명사 ‘당신’의 용례 분석 -한국어교육을 중심으로-

Abstract

This study examines the distribution range of ‘dangsin’ in educational corpus which is shown in the search result of corpus searching program ‘글잡이 II.’ It analyzes how frequent ‘dangsin’ is used in different sections such as colloquial, literary style, different age and sex, and the relationship between a speaker and a listener. The result shows that ‘dangsin’ is most frequently used in the literature section, meaning that ‘dangsin’ can be found most frequently in literature such as in fairy tales and novels. For educational corpus, there is more literary words than colloquial words. However, ‘dangsin’ is used more in colloquial style than literary style. That results from the fact that ‘dangsin’ is mostly used in conversation, and even though ‘dangsin’ is used in literary style, it is very limited. In addition, when it comes to the relationship between a speaker and a listener, it turns out that ‘dangsin’ is most frequently used by married couples. This study took in the realistic usage examples of ‘dangsin’ in order to analyze the aspects of ‘dangsin’. This approach helps Korean learners consider the variety of examples, leading to understanding more practical usage of ‘dangsin’. This study is significant in a way that it suggests a convincing way to educate Korean learners by examining how ‘dangsin’ is used in educational corpus.
