초기 청소년의 부정적 양육경험과 비행의 관계에서학교 내 대인관계의 종단적 매개효과

초록

본 연구에서는 사회발달모델을 기반으로 하여 초기 청소년이 지각한 부정적 양육경험과 비행간의 관계에서 학교 내 대인관계의 종단적 매개효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구를 위해 한국아동·청소년 패널조사의 초4 패널자료 중에서 3차(초6), 4차(중1), 5차(중2)자료를 활용하였으며 수집된 자료는 자기회귀교차지연모형을 적용하여 분석되었다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 이전 시점의 부정적 양육경험, 학교 내 대인관계, 비행은 각각 이후 시점의 부정적 양육경험, 학교 내 대인관계, 비행에 정적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 이전 시점의 부정적 양육경험은 이후 시점의 학교 내 대인관계에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 이전 시점의 학교 내 대인관계는 이후 시점의 비행에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 학교 내 대인관계는 부정적 양육경험과 비행간의 관계를 종단적으로 완전매개하는 것이 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 초기 청소년의 비행에 대한 예방과 개입 시 학교에서의 교사-학생 관계를 비롯한 교우관계를 함께 고려해야할 필요성이 있음을 보여준다. 마지막으로 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 초기 청소년 비행의 예방과 개입을 위한 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.

Abstract

This study examined the longitudinal mediating effects of interpersonal relationships in school on the links between early adolescents’ perceived negative parenting experiences and delinquent, based on the social development model. Data were collected from 2,351 students who participated in the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS) at 3 different time points(T1=Elementary School 6th grade, T2=middle school 1st grade, T3=2nd grade). Data were analyzed with autoregressive across-lagged model. The results of the study were as follows. First, prior negative parenting experience, interpersonal relationships in school and delinquent had a significantly positive influence on the later negative parenting experience, interpersonal relationships in school and delinquent respectively. Second, the prior negative parenting experience had a significantly negative influence on the later interpersonal relationships in school. Third, the prior interpersonal relationships in school had a significantly negative influence on the later depression. Fourth, interpersonal relationships in school showed longitudinal partial mediating effects on the links between negative parenting experiences and delinquent. This result show that prevention and intervention of depression in early adolescents need to consider both teacher attachment and peer attachment in school. Lastly, Implications for prevention and intervention of early adolescents' delinquent are discussed.
