초록

The purpose of this study were to understand the influence of f&b staff’s burnout in hotels upon knowledge sharing behavior and turnover intention and empirically analyze the moderating effects by career and gender between the relations of burnout, knowlede sharing behavior and turnover intention. Based on total 341 samples obtained from empirical research, this study reviewed the reliability and fitness of the research model and verified a total of 6 hypotheses using the AMOS program. The hypothesized relationships in the model test simultaneously by using a structural equation model(SEM). The model’s fit, as indicated by these indexes, was deemed satisfactory, thus providing a good basis for testing the hypothesized paths. The SEM showed the that the emotional burnout, depersonalization, diminished personal accomplishment had a negative significant influence on knowledge sharing behavior. Also, knowledge sharing behavior had a negative significant influence on trunover intention. The moderating effects on career do not seem to exist, although its effects on gender do. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.
