한국 초등 도덕과 교육과 관련된 독일 도덕 교과서 분석 연구 - 가치영역별 도덕 역량 지향 모델을 중심으로

본 연구는 독일의 초등 도덕과 교과서의 내용 구성 체계를 분석하여, 한국의 도덕과 교육 및 교과서 개발에 주는 시사점을 찾는 것을 목적으로 한다. 분석 대상은 독일의 초등학교에 실제 적용되고 도덕과 교과서이며, 구체적으로는 현재까지 독일 초등교육 현장에서 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 코넬슨(Cornelson), 클레트(Klett), 밀리츠케(Militzke) 출판사의 교과서들이다. 이 교과서들의 내용 분석을 통해 우리는 독일 초등 도덕과 교과의 내용 구성 원리 및 성취 능력 목표를 귀납적으로 도출할 것이다. 그리고 이 분석 성과를 토대로 한국의 도덕과 교육의 방향 및 교과서 개발을 위한 유의미한 시사점을 제안하고자 한다. 우리의 연구의 핵심은 두 가지이다. 우선, 독일의 초등 도덕과 관련 교과서의 내용 구성이 네 가지의 범주 영역을 근간으로 되어 있음을 밝힌다. 네 가지 범주 영역은 첫째, ‘자아에 대한 반성과 이해’, 둘째, ‘나와 공동체의 관계’, 셋째, ‘역사와 문화’, 넷째, ‘환경과 자연 혹은 세계’이다. 다음으로, 각 범주 영역을 바탕으로 3가지의 성취 능력을 달성하고자 하는 목표가 뚜렷이 드러난다는 점을 논증한다. 이러한 독일 초등 도덕과 관련 교과서의 내용 구성 체계의 특성을 우리는 ‘가치 영역별 도덕 역량 지향 모델’이라는 말로 함축하고, 이 모델이 ‘가치관계 확장 모델’을 넘어서 새로운 차원으로 전환하고 있는 한국의 도덕과 교육의 방향 및 교과서 개발에 유의미한 시사점을 주는 좋은 사례가 될 수 있음을 결론적으로 제시할 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze of moral textbooks of Elementary School in Germany. And to find implications for the development of moral education and textbooks in Korea. Specifically, it analyzes textbooks that are actually applied to elementary schools in Germany, analyzes contents of textbooks and learning objectives. Through these analyzes, we will derive the meaning of the content and editorial principles and characteristics of elementary morality and textbooks in Germany. In our content analysis research, our core research achievements are twofold. One of them is that the composition of textbooks is hunted into four categories. The four categories are: ‘reflection and understanding of self’ ; second, ‘relationship with community’ ; third, ‘history and culture’ ; and fourth, ‘environment and nature or world’. The other is that the goal or ability of education based on this content converges to three. The three abilities are ‘conceptualization ability’, ‘text analysis ability’, and ‘reflection and judgment ability’. In addition, in order to positively evaluate and utilize the results of this research positively, we summarize it from four viewpoints of development direction of Korean moral textbooks.
