정신분열병이 지능에 미치는 영향

Abstract

Objectives : This study aimed to evaluate the influence of schizophrenia on intelligence by comparing the current and the premorbid intelligence of the schizophrenia patients. Methods : The subjects were 262 schizophrenia patients in admission. The author have the results of Korean Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale(K-WAIS) as current intelligence and the induced intelligence from the age-education specific means of K-WAIS standardzation samples as premorbid intelligence. The patients were divided 4 groups by the percentile of current intelligence(current intelligence/ premorbid intelligence×100)in descending order. The lowest group(impairment group) and the highest group(maintenance group) were selected and evaluated in terms of the current intelligence and clinical characteristics.
