Abstract

Akutagawa meets his last lover (Hiroko Katayama) at Garuizawa in the summer of 13th year of the Taisho. However, it is believed that she is a woman who can compete against him with her own talent and her coalition with Akutagawa brought intellectual pleasure and joy to Akutagawa by the exchanges of literary figures. However, it is also considered that the inevitable relationship between a man and a woman is hidden. The attraction to Akutagawa from Hiroko turns out to be not just love for literature, but a man and woman relationship that can be speculated through her act of throwing out a ring, which symbolizes her relationship with her late husband.
