과학기술의 발달로 인해 미래 전쟁 양상이 네트워크 기반하 동시통합전 형태로 발전이 예상됨에 따라 기존의 워게임 모델의 모의논리로는 전쟁을 모의하기에는 한계에 도달했다. 이러한 한계점을 극복하기 위해 본 연구는 미래전의 핵심인 NCW 개념을 전투모의의 가장 큰 영향요소인 탐지/교전논리에 적용하고자 하였다. 우선 NCW 개념에 대한 포괄적 고찰을 통하여 전장에 미치는 영향요소를 분석하였으며 주요 워게임에 적용된 기본 교전논리의 장단점 비교분석을 통하여 NCW 개념 적용 시 부대단위 정밀교전에 가장 적합한 기본논리를 식별하고 추가 개선소요를 도출하였다. 여기에 NCW 개념하의 전장 영향요소를 바탕으로 워게임 모델의 탐지/교전논리에 대한 세부적인 발전방향을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 워게임모델의 핵심인 탐지/교전논리에 NCW 개념을 적용해 봄으로써 전투모의에 대한 새로운 발전 가능성을 제시할 수 있었다.
Abstract
Since it is expected that the future warfare will develop into the network based simultaneously integrated warfare through the technology progress, there will be many limitations to simulate the battlefield using conventional wargame logics. In order to overcome the limitations, this research attempts to apply the NCW concept to develop simulation logics on Detection/Engagement in combat modeling. This study identifies the most appropriate basic logics and further improvement requirement for the unit based detailed engagement under NCW environments through a comparison of strength and weakness for the basic engagement logics which have been applied to main wargame models. This research also suggests a future development guidance for Detection/Engagement logics of wargame models under the NCW concept.
