This study is aimed for exploring necessity and usefulness for education of Modern History of Korea for Chinese foreign students and the rough summary is as follows. Chapter II, "Description Tendency of Modern History of Korea in the Chinese History Textbook", looked into description tendency of Modern History of Korea in the Chinese history textbook. And it found out that it is reflective of historical perception of the Chinese communists in description of Korean history and depicted its transitional process as well. Chapter III verified that Chinese foreign students are short of perception of Korean history through conducting a questionnaire survey and characterized its distinction by analysing descriptive tendency of Chinese history and Korean history. Chapter IV, "Reconsideration of Korean History Education", described three educational methods of Modern History of Korea for Chinese foreign students and the necessity of language education through history as well as comparative and integrated education. It emphasized the necessity of taking various methods and objective view in education of Modern History of Korea for foreigners, especially for the people in neighboring China because China and Korean both have strong country-oriented view of history despite of two countries have something in common that they coped with the invasion of Japan during Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592 and they both be invaded by Japan at the end of the Joseon Dynasty.
