본 연구는 현상학적 체험연구로써 미술치료학과 대학생들의 현장실습 경험을 파악하고, 그에 대한 의미를 이해하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 참여자들은 미술치료 현장실습 교과를 수강하고 현장실습을 진행한 경험이 있는 미술치료학과 대학생 6명으로, 이들과 심층면담을 통해 자료를 수집 후 윌리스(Willis)가 제시한 항시비교법 3단계를 바탕으로 자료 분석을 진행하였다. 분석 결과 주요 내용 12개와 ‘현장실습 교과목 체계’, ‘어려움과 대처’, ‘나아감’, ‘나아감의 방향’, ‘나를 바라봄’이라는 5개의 범주, 그리고 ‘서툰 발걸음과 성장’이라는 공통주제가 도출되었다. 본 연구가 미술치료학과 대학생들에게 현장실습의 경험적 정보가 되고, 미술치료학과 대학생들을 전문적인 미술치료사로 성장시키기 위한 미술치료 현장실습 교과의 방향을 모색하는 데 있어 유용한 자료로써 제공되기를 기대한다.
Abstract
This study aims to define the experience of college students studying Art Therapy through field practice, and further, understand the experience as a phenomenological experiential study. The study participants were 6 college students currently enrolled in an Art Therapy program with field practice experience. Data collected through in-depth interviews was analyzed through the three-steps of the Constant Comparative Method proposed by Willis. The obtained analysis results were as follows; 12 main contents, 5 categories of ‘subject system for the field practice’, ‘difficulties and coping’, ‘making progress’, ‘a direction of making progress’, ‘looking at myself’, and common topics of ‘clumsy steps and growth’. The goal of this study is to prepare experiential information on field practice for college students studying Art Therapy and provide a helpful resource for designing art therapy field practice experiences that nurtures growth as professional art therapists.
