이 연구는 다문화아동을 지도한 경험이 있는 아동돌봄 지원가의 인식을 토대로 다문화상담 역량에 대해 살펴보고 개선방안을 탐색하기 위한 것이다. 이를위해 PA분석 기법을 활용하여 주요 개선방안에 대해 분석하였다. 그 결과, 아동돌봄 지원가의 다문화상담 역량에 대한 인식은 중요도에 비해 실행도가 상대적으로 낮게 나타났다. 또한, 중요도와 실행도 하위 유형에 따라 우선순위가 다른것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 아동돌봄 지원가의 다문화상담 역량에서 우선 개선이 필요한 사항을 탐색함으로써, 돌봄영역에서의 다문화 상담 전문성 향상에기여하고자 하였다. 이러한 노력이 이주배경 아동의 적응과 도시 인구의 사회적통합에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
This study aims to examine multicultural counseling competencies based on the perceptions of childcare support workers with experience in guiding multicultural children and explore ways to improve them. Awareness of childcare workers’ multicultural counseling competencies was found to be relatively low in implementation compared to its importance. In addition, the priorities differed depending on the importance and execution subtypes. This study aimed to contribute to the improvement of professionalism in multicultural counseling by exploring areas that require priority improvement in the multicultural counseling competencies of childcare support workers. These efforts are expected to contribute to the adaptation of children from immigrant backgrounds and social integration of the urban population.
