국악 영재 영재성 구성요소 구조화 연구: 초등 민요 영재 사례를 중심으로

본 연구는 초등 민요 전공 국악 영재의 단일 사례를 중심으로, 민요 영재성이 지닌 특성을 도출하고 그 구성요소를 탐색적으로 구조화하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 민요 명인의 생애사, 매체 인터뷰, 관련 문헌을 고찰하고, 연구대상자의 전공 실기 수업을 심층 관찰한 뒤, 명인의 특징과 공통되는 요소를 중심으로 대영역과 세부 요소를 도출하였다. 이 과정은 민요 전문가의 검토를 통해 타당성을 확보하였다. 연구 결과, 민요 영재성은 ‘신체적 특성’, ‘국악 표현성’, ‘국악 인지성’, ‘행동 특성’의 네 가지 대영역으로 분류되었으며, 각 영역은 관련 세부 요소들로 구성되었다. 본 연구는 사례 기반의 탐색적 접근을 통해 민요 전공 국악 영재의 특성을 구조화한 시도이며, 향후 전공별 국악 영재성 연구의 기반 자료로 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.
Abstract
This study aims to explore and structurally identify the components of giftedness in Korean traditional music, gugak, through a single case study of an elementary student specializing in Korean folks songs, minyo. An analysis of the histories of, media interviews with, and related literature about renowned minyo masters, and in-depth observations of the target student’s practical lessons were used to compare observed traits, and derive and validate major domains and subcomponents by experts in the field. The four major domains of giftedness in minyo that emerged are: physical traits, expressive ability in Korean traditional music, cognitive traits in Korean traditional music, and behavioral characteristics. Each domain was composed of detailed subcomponents reflecting the traits observed. This study provides a case-based, exploratory framework for understanding the giftedness of minyo students and is expected to contribute foundational data for future studies on giftedness in various fields of Korean traditional music.
