혁신은 기업의 경쟁력을 강화시키며, 경제성장의 가장 중요한 동인이다. 급변하는 경영환경의 변화에 대응하기 위하여 혁신의 중요성은 날로 증가하고 있다. 선진국들은 중국, 인도, 등 후발국들의 추격에 대응하여 격차 확보, 자국 산업의 경쟁력 유지와 지적재산권 및 국제표준 등을 통한 기초·원천 기술을 확보 및 기술 장벽 구축 등 다양한 방법으로 후발국들을 견제하고 있다. 기초 과학 연구와 기업의 R&D에 대한 노력을 통하여 지식기반경제로의 이행과 동시에 기술혁신을 가속화시키고 있는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 국내 휴대폰 부품 산업의 R&D에 대한 수익 확보 요인을 알아보고자 쌍대비교 기법을 통해 각 요인들의 우선순위를 도출한 후, 선행연구와 비교하여 결과를 제시하였다.
Abstract
Innovation strengthens the competitive power of the enterprise and is the most important factor for economic growth. In order to confront rapid changes in the business environment, the importance of innovation is increasing. The advanced nations are confronted with the economic rise of China, India, and other late-starting countries. In advanced countries, they are trying to get intellectual property rights and international standards for their original technology in order to create a technical barrier. The advanced nations are investing in basic science and R&D for their enterprises. This leads to a knowledge-based economy and technical innovation. This study investigates the important factor of R&D for the cellular phone industry in Korea and compares the Korean cellular phone industry with other countries’ cellular phone manufacturing industries.
