초록
1994년 IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force)에 의해 IPv6 기본 표준이 확정된 후, IPv6는 기존의 IPv4의 한계를 뛰어 넘는 인터넷 기반 기술로서 자리매김해 왔으며, 최근 정부의 IT-839 전략의 3대 기본 인프라의 하나로서 명실공히 국가 기반 사업으로 추진되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 지금까지의 국내외 IPv6의 보급 현황과 표준화 현황을 점검하고 IPv6의 보급 전략을 제시한다.
Abstract
Since the basic specifications of IPv6 were established by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) in 1994, it has been recognized as a future fundamental Internet technology that overcomes the limitations of IPv4. Recently the government has designated IPv6 as one of the three basic infrastructures of the IT-839 project. Hence, this paper examines the current deployment and standardization status of IPv6 and proposes future deployment strategies.
