Abstract

Prosodic Information in Phonological LevelsChang-Kyum KimThis paper claims that lexical prosodic information is assigned in the phonological representation and once assigned, it tries to keep the information for minimal constraint violations and is present in all phonological levels. Consistency of the moraic information is supported by compensatory lengthening, and consistency of the syllabic information by contrast of syllable boundaries, and consistency of the foot information by Korean partial reduplication, and consistency of the phonological word information by its domain.
