비즈니스 환경의 변화로 인하여 비서직 전문성 개발에 관한 요구는 계속적으로 증가되고 있지만, 이에 따른 교육요구 변화를 밝혀내기 위한 시스템적인 분석은 아직 미비한 실정이다. 이 연구의 목적은 비서직 전문성 개발을 위한 교육요구 분석방법을 문헌연구를 통해 고찰하고, 실제 분석을 통해 전문성 개발을 위한 교육요구 영역을 제시하는 데 있다. 연구방법으로는 DACUM법을 사용하여 비서직 종사자들을 대상으로 현재 상태와 기대 상태에 대한 직무분석을 실시하였고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 직무내용 분석 및 요구되는 지식과 능력의 차이를 비교, 분석하여 교육요구를 추출하였다. 수집된 자료 분석 결과, 커뮤니케이션, 외국어 활용 능력, 기획 및 관리, 인사/교육 업무, 정보수집, 회계 업무, 의사결정 능력과 행사관리 영역이 비서직 전문성 개발을 위한 교육요구가 있는 분야로 나타났다. 본 연구의 한계점으로는 연구분석 대상자들이 모두 기업비서들로 구성되어 그 이외의 다양한 조직유형과 특성을 반영하지 못했다는 점이며, 비서의 학력 및 경력과 전문성간에 상호관계에 대한 고찰이 간과된 점, DACUM법 자체의 연구방법상 한계 등을 들 수 있다.
Abstract
As the office environment is getting automated, and as work styles constantly changes, it requires organizations to increase competencies and productivity of their office workers through professional development. The need of professional development toward secretary (or administrative assistant) is not an exception. However, few studies are there on systematic analysis to identify educational needs for professional development of secretary. The purpose of this study is to describe how to identify educational needs for professional development of secretary, and to suggest the areas of its educational and training needs. First, it conducted job analysis using DACUM to identify the current job level and the expected job level. For the current job level, current secretaries participated at DACUM, and for the expected job level, current executive secretaries participated at DACUM. Second, it analyzed the difference between the current job level and the expected job level, and third, it suggested the areas of its educational needs based on the gap. As a result, eight areas are identified: communication skills, foreign language proficiency, planning and managerial skills, HR(human resource) and training, data collecting and analytical skills, accounting, decision making, and convention management.
