시편 23편에 나타나는 삶은 ‘여호와의 집’에서 보호받을 수 있었던 구원의 삶을 의미한다. 특별히 시인은 절체절명의 위기에서 아쥘보호권리를 획득할 수 있었던 것을 감사로 노래하고 있다. 물론 이것이 우발적인 살인과 관련되거나 불의한 피의 복수로부터 안전을 보장하는 아쥘보호 기능이라고 보기는 어렵다. 구약성서에 나타나는 아쥘보호 기능은 상황과 시대에 따라 근본적인 본질 안에서 변화를 도모했다. 그러므로 시편 23편 또한 절체절명의 위기에 있는 시인의 삶을 보호하는 성전아쥘을 함축하고 있는 것은 분명하다. 동시에 1-3절은 애굽에서 도망쳐 탈출한 난민 이스라엘의 피난처를 소망하는 노래이다. 특별히 1-3절은 난민보호를 위한 피난처기능에 관하여 구체적이며 실제적 모델이다. 여기서 우리는 시편 23편에서 나타나는 아쥘 기능과 피난처 기능과의 유기적 관계를 관찰할 수 있다. 시편 전체의 바깥 틀을 구성하는 6절과 1-3절(AA')에 관심의 초점을 맞추면, 교차대구구조를 통해서 목자 메타포(1-3)와 잔치집 주인-메타포(6절)를 동일하게 읽을 수 있다. 중요한 신학적인 성찰은 1-3절을 이스라엘 민족의 노래로 읽을 수 있는 것을 단초로 하여, 6절을 이스라엘 민족을 위한 아쥘보호의 노래로 읽을 수 있다는 점이다. 피난처 기능과 아쥘 보호기능, 두 가지 주제가 서로 연결되어 총체적인 구원의 삶을 함축한다. 시편 23편의 메타포는 난민을 위한 피난처로서 ‘공간적 지리적 장소’의 필연성을 함의하고 있으며, 동시에 이를 법적 장치로 보호해야 한다는 아쥘전승을 함축하고 있다. 시편 23편의 메타포는 난민과 난민 수용 정책을 위하여, 아쥘기능과 피난처기능을 양면적 절대가치로 제시하고 있다.
Abstract
The life mentioned in Psalm 23 signifies the life that could have received salvation from “Jehova’s home”. In particular, he poet sings of gratitude in a desperately dangerous situation because he has gotten the right of asylum. Of course it is difficult to view it in relation with an accidental murder or as a function of asylum to protect oneself from an unjust blood revenge. The function of asylum protection, mentioned in the Old Testament, has led to changes within its fundamental nature depending on the situation and time period. Therefore, it is clear that Psalm 23 implies the temple asylum that protects the poet’s life in desperate danger. At the same time, verse 1-3 is the song about hope of shelter sung by the Israeli refugee escaping from Egypt. Especially verse 1-3 is a detailed and practical model in relation to the refuge function for the protection of refugees. Here, in Psalm 23, we can see a close relation between the asylum function and the refuge function. If we focus on verse 6 and 1-3(AA’), which forms the outline of the complete Psalm, we can read through chiasmus that the Shepherd metaphor (1-3) and the ‘Party Host’-Metaphor (verse 6) can be considered identical. The important theological introspection takes Verse 1-3 can be read as the song of the Israeli people, and thus verse 6 can be read as the song of asylum protection from the Israeli people. Function of refuge and function of asylum protection, those two topics are connected and imply a total a total life of salvation. The metaphor in Psalm 23 contains the necessity of a ‘spatial and geographic place’ for the refugees’ refuge and implies at the same time that there is an ‘asylum tradition’ which has to be protected through legal device. The metaphor in Psalm 23 shows that the function of asylum and refuge have a two-sided absolute value for the politics regarding refugees and the acceptance of refugees.
