초록
In this paper, Korean learners of Japanese language are divided into two groups, beginners and intermediate-advanced students, according to their proficiency level. After they were instructed about poses, their fluency in Japanese was evaluated by native Japanese speakers. The key question is whether vocal elements are related to varying poses. The fluency evaluation of the beginner group, half of whom were given the pose instructions and the other half were not, did not show statistic significance, but the fluency score of the instructed group appeared slightly higher. Despite significant differences in speech speed and pause length / proportion, these findings suggest that speech factors other than pose-related speech aspects affected fluency ratings. In the fluency evaluation among the intermediate and advanced learners, the instruction indicated statistically significant differences, and it was confirmed that there was significant differences in speech speed and poses. It was found that the instruction of fluency had a significant effect on fluency evaluation and speech speed.
