Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate for the gifted education on disadvantaged groups; economical, cultural, and geographical conditions. Programs developed for the gifted education must take into account the diversity represented within gifted population. And the gifted education programs should consider the opportunities for geographically, culturally, and economically disadvantaged groups. The major factor for disadvantaged groups appeared to be their social support networks. Different programs have different goals for the gifted education on disadvantaged groups.
