Abstract
This study aims to promote the psychological well-being and emotional re covery of military personnel by developing and examining the structure and practical applicability of an eight-week dance movement therapy (DMT) program. The program is organized into three progressive stages: "Enhancing Self-Awareness and Sense of Belonging," "Improving Social Communication and Trust," and "Deepening Emotional Stability and Group Cohesion." Each phase is designed to guide participants through processes of emotional aware ness, bodily expression, group interaction, strengthened affiliation, and self-reflection. In particular, the program emphasizes nonverbal, move ment-based activities that serve as both a medium of emotional expression and a path to psychological healing. Participants reported experiencing meaningful positive changes, including emotional release, enhancement of self-esteem, and restoration of interpersonal trust. The findings of this study suggest that body-based movement activities can serve as effective tools for alleviating psy chological tension and fostering social bonds within the context of military life. Future research should expand upon these findings by adapting the program to various military branches and cultural contexts, while also conducting long-term evaluations to verify its sustained efficacy.
