英語媒介の日中二次翻訳文から考える日中機械 翻訳の傾向性 ― 演説文を例として ―

인공지능(AI) 번역(기계번역) 기술이 발전하면서 세계적으로 수많은번역 서비스 소프트웨어가 등장했다. 기점(起點)언어―목표(目標)언어를사용하는 직접 번역 모델도 있고, 기점(起點)언어―영어―목표(目標)언어를 사용하는 간접 번역 모델도 있다. 본문은 일중 번역상에서 직접 번역을 하는 Baidu 번역과 간접 번역을 하는 Google 번역, DeepL 번역의 어휘, 구문, 정보의 3가지 레벨에서의 경향성을 검토하고, 각각의 번역 서비스 소프트웨어 각각의 특기와 장단점을 정리한다. 이것은 우리가 번역 서비스 소프트웨어를 선택하는 데 도움이 되고, 또한 서로 다른 번역 서비스 소프트웨어를 사용할 때 주의해야 할 점이 무엇인지 이해하는 데 도움이 될 것이다. 우리가 더 효율적으로 번역 서비스 소프트웨어를 사용할수 있도록 하고, 번역 작업자의 번역 효율과 번역 품질을 향상 시킬 수있을 것이다.
Abstract
With advances in artificially intelligent translation (machine translation) technology, numerous translation services have emerged around the world. Some of them use the direct translation model of the original language and the target language, while others use the indirect translation model of source-English-destination language. This paper examines the tendencies of Baidu Translation, which performs direct translation on Japanese-Chinese translation, and Google Translation and DeepL Translation, which perform indirect translation, on three levels: lexical, syntactic and informational, and summarises the respective strengths and weaknesses of each translation service software. This will facilitate our choice of translation service software and our understanding of what we need to pay attention to when using different translation service software, so that we can use translation service software more efficiently and improve the translation efficiency and quality of translators.
