경기도 인구 및 고용 밀도 분포에 영향을 미치는 지역의 도출 및 상호관계 분석

본 연구는 경기도지역의 인구 및 고용 중심지를 파악하고 각각의 중심지가 가지는 영향을 파악하는데 목적을 가진다. 이를 위해 McMillen (2001)의 비모수적 방법론을 차용하여 연구를 시행하였다. 2007년 경기도의 경우 7개의 인구 중심지와 9개의 고용 중심지가 산출되었으며 산출된 중심지의 영향력을 파악한 결과 대부분 주변지역의 밀도를 끌어들이는 역할을 수행하였으나, 각각 1개씩의 불경제 지역을 가지고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 인구 및 고용 중심지를 서로 연계하여 상호효과를 살펴본 경우, 개별적인 분석과 큰 차이는 나타나지 않았지만 상호효과가 존재하는 지역을 살펴 볼 수 있었다. 중심지의 공간적 분포를 살펴본 경우, 고용 중심지는 서울의 인근에 분포하며 인구 중심지의 경우 서울에서 일정거리(30km)이상 이격하여 입지하려는 양상을 띠었다. 본 연구를 통해 경기도의 인구 및 고용 중심지를 파악 할 수 있었으며, 각각의 입지 및 그 영향력을 가시적으로 파악할 수 있었다.
Abstract
This study has two main objectives, identifying sub-centers of population and employment in SMA and analyzing their effects. For this purpose, we derived non-paramatic method from McMillen (2001). In 2007, 7 population sub centers and 9 employment sub centers are identified in Gyeongi-Do. These sub centers have not only centripetal force, but also centrifugal force, that is agglomeration diseconomy effect. As a result of analyzing interaction between population and employment sub center, there are some regions including interaction effect. Checking spatial distribution of sub center, employment sub centers are located in the vicinity of Seoul, but population sub centers are separated from Seoul as far as 30km. From this study, we can identify population and employment sub centers in Gyeonggi-Do and figure out their effects and spatial distribution.
