이 연구는 국어과를 중심으로 여러 교과의 교육과정을 통합하는 교육과정 재구성과 수업의 가능성을 탐색해 보았다. 여러 교과의 교육 내용을 균형 있게 다루는 교과 통합 수업을 위해서는 교과 교육과정에 대한 교사의 문해력이 전제되어야 한다. 2015 개정 교육과정의 3~4학년군 국어과, 사회과, 과학과 교육과정을 검토하고 레오 리오니의 그림책 『물고기는 물고기야』를 중심으로 교과 통합 수업을 고찰해 보았다. 이 연구는 통합 자체가 아니라 교과 교육과정을 고려한 교과 통합 수업을 논의했다는 의의를 지니지만 교육과정 재구성과 수업의 구체적인 모습을 명확하게 보여주지 못했다는 한계 또한 지닌다.
Abstract
This study explored the possibility of the curriculum reconstruction and the classes that integrate the curriculum of various subjects focusing on the Korean language department. In order to integrate the curriculum, which deals with the contents of the curriculum in a balanced manner, the teacher's literacy for curriculum should be premised. In the 3rd and 4th grades of the 2015 revised curriculum, I analyzed the curriculum of Korean Language, Social Studies, and Science, and reviewed the subject integrated class focusing on Leo Lionni’s picture book “Fish is fish”. This study is meaningful in that it did not focus on the integration itself but discussed the integrated class considering the curriculum of the individual subject. But it also has the limitation that it does not clearly show the reconstruction of the curriculum and the concrete picture of the class.
