축협사업과 축산농가소득의 연관성 분석

본 연구는 축산농가소득과 축협사업과의 연관성을 분석하여 향후 축협사업이 농업 및 농가소득증대에 기여하는 방안을 모색해 보고자 하였다. 이에 본 연구에서 사용된 축협사업통계는 자료의 일관성을 위하여 통합농협 이후인 2001년부터 2018년까지의 자료를 이용하여 생산함수를 확장하여 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과를 정리해보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자본집약도는 농업 및 농가소득에 정(+)의 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 경제사업 중 판매사업, 마트사업과 기타사업, 교육지원사업은 축산업에 종사하는 농업 및 농가소득에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, LASSO 분석에서는 판매사업과 교육지원사업이 축산업에 종사하는 농업인의 소득에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 종합하여 보면 축협의 사업 중 판매사업과 마트사업 및 교육지원 사업은 농가소득에 긍정적인 영향을 미치나, 신용사업은 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 확인하지 못하였다.
Abstract
This study analyzes the impact of livestock cooperative businesses on farm income growth. Livestock cooperative businesses have been trying to find ways to contribute to increases in farm income. The data in this study dates from 2001 to 2018. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, capital intensity has a positive effect on agricultural and farm household income. Second, in the economy business of livestock cooperatives, the purchase business has a positive effect on agricultural income. Third, LASSO analysis showed that the sales and the education support business of livestock cooperatives had a significant effect on the income of farmers engaged in the livestock industry. In summary, the economic business and the education and guidance business of the livestock cooperatives have a positive impact on farm income. However, in the case of the credit business, the statistical significance was not confirmed.
