초록
In this article, quantum logic is suggested as a solution to the crisis of antimechanism, which insists that mind can never be emerged in AI. As it is known, although Gödel sentence is the king pin to collapse the argument of mechanism, which asserts mind can surely be emerged in AI, revenge problem occurred due to self-referentiality becomes the double edged sword for and against anti-mechanists. In other words, Gödel sentence, which says, “this sentence can not be proved.” is not just the final blow from anti-mechanists to mechanists but it is also the finishing blow the other way around. To clarify the idea above, Lucas and Penrose are first called upon to briefly summarize the debate centered on Gödel sentence between mechanists and antimechanists. Secondly, Tarskian hierarchy of languages, Kripke’s completeness theorem, and Priest’s dialetheism are examined if any of those can solve the self-referential problem. Lastly, quantum logic is suggested as a solution to the crisis of anti-mechanists that are being attacked by their own weapon of Gödelian style sentence.
