장애아동 학대에 대한 연구동향 분석

본 연구는 장애아동 학대와 관련한 국내외 문헌을 체계적으로 분석하여 전반적인 연구동향을 살펴보고, 이를 바탕으로 장애아동 학대 예방 및 중재를 위한 향후 연구과제에 주는 시사점을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 문헌연구의 한 방법인 범위연구(scoping study) 방법을 사용하였으며, 범위연구 방법의 절차에 따라 장애아동 학대와 관련된 선행연구 총 29편을 선정하고, 선정된 논문들을 연구 참여자, 연구방법, 자료수집 방법, 연구주제에 따라 분석하였다. 선행연구의 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대부분의 국외 연구에서 연구 참여자는 장애아동 혹은 학대피해아동인데 반해 국내의 경우 아동을 대상으로 한 연구는 한편도 없었다. 둘째, 대부분의 연구들은 아동의 기록지(예, 사회복지서비스 기록지, 의료 기록지)를 검토하거나 부모 및 전문가(예, 교사, 사회복지사)의 설문 응답을 통한 조사연구를 실시하고 있었다. 셋째, 지금까지 장애아동 학대 관련 연구들은 장애아동 학대 현황, 장애아동 학대에 영향을 미치는 위험요인, 학대가 장애아동에게 미치는 영향, 학대피해 장애아동을 위한 지원서비스라는 4가지 연구주제를 중심으로 이루어졌으나 지원서비스에 대한 연구는 상대적으로 부족하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과를 토대로 향후 연구방향에 대한 시사점이 논의되었다.

Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to review domestic and abroad literature on child abuse and neglect of children with disabilities and to suggest directions for future research. Using the scoping study method as one type of literature review, a total of 29 studies were selected and analyzed in terms of participants, study designs, data collection methods, and research themes. The findings suggested that while children with disabilities or victims took part in the majority of abroad studies, Korean studies employed parents of children with disabilities. Second, most studies employed survey research in which a review of records or survey questionnaires were used. Third, previous studies were categorized into four themes, incidence of child maltreatment, risk factors for child maltreatment, consequences of child maltreatment, and service systems. However, there was relatively a few studies on service systems. Based on these findings, implications for future research were discussed in order to enhance prevention and treatment of child maltreatment .
