기능주의 관점의 최적성 이론을 통한 早期官話 文白異讀에서의 동화 작용에 의한 주요모음 변화 양상 연구

본 논문은 기능주의 배경에서의 최적성 이론을 통해 早期官話 文白異讀에서의 주요모음 변화 양상을 동화 작용으로 일관되게 분석하는 것을 핵심 주제로 삼는다. 아울러 동화 현상으로 早期官話 文白異讀에서의 주요모음 변화 양상을 기본적으로 해석하는 동시에 이것의 언어 변화 원리까지 논증하고자 한다. 이를 위해 早期官話 文白異讀의 주요모음의 차이를 입성 말음 음절에서의 주요모음 동화 규칙과 입성 말음 변경 규칙의 두 현상 간의 상호작용으로 인한 결과로 가정하고 최적성 이론에서의 기능주의 음운론을 통해 독서음과 구어음의 동화 현상에서 나타나는 여러 음운형태 구조 변화 방식의 체계적 차이를 보편 제약의 등급을 순위 배열하여 설명하였고, 양자 간의 등급 재배열 이유를 분석하였다.
Abstract
In this study, I discussed the aspect of development of vowel assimilation between literary reading and colloquial reading in Old Mandarin(OM, henceforth) within the framework of Optimality Theory(OT, henceforth) by introducing phonetic features from a functionalist view to functional motivations. This paper develops as follow: In chapter Ⅱ, data concerning vowel assimilation between literary reading and colloquial reading in OM are presented. Through this, I found that vowel assimilation between literary reading and colloquial reading in OM is closely related by the coda of rusheng(入聲). And chapter Ⅱ also critically reviews previous approaches to have been focused to reveal order of phonological rules between literary reading and colloquial reading in OM. Chapter Ⅲ analyzes vowel assimilation between literary reading and colloquial reading from a functional approach of OT, which explains phonological phenomenon in terms of phonetic motivations. Comparing with previous analysis based by rule theory, this analysis can be explained the aspect of development of vowel assimilation between literary reading and colloquial reading in OM as a few major constraints and adjustment of ranking on the basis of diachronic phonological changes. Chapter Ⅳ is a concluding summary.
