인터넷 게시판 교류가 활성화되면서 이를 통한 성폭력도 증대하는 추세에 있고 그 유형도 점점 다양해지고 있다. 인터넷 게시판 성폭력은 성폭력에 대한 일반적 이해만으로 적절한 대책을 세우기에 무리가 따르지만 이를 중점적으로 다룬 연구는 없었다. 이에 본 연구는 선행연구를 바탕으로 인터넷 게시판 성폭력의 특성을 반영하여 수정된 사이버 성폭력의 개념과 유형을 제시하였다. 또한 인터넷 게시판상의 성폭력을 분석하는데 활용될 수 있는 이론적 틀을 제시하였다. 나아가서 인터넷 게시판 성폭력의 특성 및 가해자의 합리화 메커니즘을 분석하였다. 본 연구는 성폭행 피해자에 치중하던 기존의 연구 틀에서 벗어나 가해자들이 자신의 행위를 합리화하는 메커니즘을 연구하여 성폭력 예방에 도움이 되고자하였다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 인터넷 게시판상의 성폭력을 방지하는데 실효성 있는 정책적 제언들을 제시하였다.
Abstract
With the increase of interpersonal communication via internet billboard, the frequency of sexual violence on the board has also increased dramatically. Sexual violence on internet billboard cannot be dealt with the measures directed at general cyber sexual violence. Nevertheless, we have very limited understanding on this issue due to the lack of prior studies. The present study refines the concept and the types of cyber sexual violence, considering distinctive features of internet bulletin board. Moreover, it analyzes the characteristics of cyber sexual violence appeared on internet bulletin board as well as the offenders' defense mechanisms of justifying their violent behavior. While earlier studies selectively focus on victims of cyber sexual violence, this study intends to prevent cyber sexual violence by analyzing perpetrators' rationalization mechanisms. Finally, policy measures to prevent and remove cyber sexual violence are suggested, emphasizing the importance of eliminating patriarchal elements in cyber space.
