숲해설가의 유아 숲체험 활동에 대한 인식 및 요구분석

본 연구는 유아 숲체험 교육에 대한 숲해설가들의 인식과 요구사항을 파악하는 것이다. 유아 대상 숲체험활동에 대해 숲해설가의 인식과 요구를 파악하여 그 결과를 현장에 적용·반영함으로써 유아 숲체험 교육의 내실화를 도모하는 한편, 유아들의 숲체험을 더욱 활성화하고 정착하는데 필요한 정보를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 숲해설가 198명을 대상으로 설문조사 하였다. 분석은 SPSS 23.0 Program을 이용하여 기술통계분석, 빈도분석, 교차분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 유아 대상 숲체험 진행시 전반적으로 유아발달 단계에 대한 이해 부족으로 숲체험 진행에 어려움을 나타냈고, 유아 대상 숲체험 프로그램이 다양하지 않다는 의견이 도출되었다. 유아 숲체험에 대한 영역별 인식은 전반적으로 긍정적으로 높은 의견을 나타냈는데, 유아 숲체험 활동시 진행자의 기본조건으로 유아 발달 관련 교육이 필요하다고 인식하고 있었다. 유아 숲체험 확산 및 발전을 위한 방안으로 유아 숲체험 교육의 내실화를 위해서 우선적으로 고려해야 할 사항은 숲에 대한 감성전달 과정에서 유아 발달 단계의 특성을 고려하여 교육해야 한다는 점이다. 이를 위해서는 정부와 각 기관에서는 숲해설가를 대상으로 유아 발달 관련 보수교육 제공 및 유아 발달 단계에 맞는 숲체험 프로그램 개발과 보급을 위해 협력과 노력을 해야 할 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the awareness and needs of the forest interpreters toward a forest experience activity for young children. This study also aimed to reinforce more robustness of the forest experience program by applying for their awareness and needs in practice and provide information to support the establishment of the program. We conducted a survey and the respondents were 198 forest interpreters. The data analysis is performed based on the descriptive statistics, frequency analysis, and cross tabulation analysis using SPSS 23.0 program. The key findings are a challenge in the program implementation due to the lack of the cognitive developmental stages of children and limited offers of the various curriculum. The study results also showed that respondents feedback were generally positive, on the other hand, they agreed on the necessity of taking an additional education of the fundamental condition as a forest interpreter with regard to the cognitive developmental stages during the forest experience activity for children. First of all, things to consider for the ensuring internal stability for the development and distribution of the forest experience activity for children is to reflect the characteristics of the young child development stage on the transfer process of sentiment in the forest. To do this, the government and the organizations should cooperate to develop and distribute the forest experience program for young children with consideration child development stage by providing additional training course to the forest interpreters.
