The purpose of this study is to identify the determinants of Korean dance and the importance of Korean dance by using-tree analysis based on data mining. 402 data were analyzed by applying snowball sampling method in the non-probability sampling method. Data was processed us ing IBM SPSS 21.0 ver, technical statistics and decision tree analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, the determinants of the rec ognition of Korean dance for Korean wave were gender, occupation re lated to dance, and whether or not they were performing. Second, the background factors that determine the importance of Korean dance for Korean dance were dancers' occupations, whether they were performing or not, and gender.
