고려 전기 주민 구성과 국가체제 - 來投문제를 중심으로 -

Abstract

There was the great power vacuum after the collapse of Tang dynasty in mainland China at the early 10th century in the East Asia. By taking advantage of an opportunity Kithan founded the country and collapsed the kingdom Balhae in the northeastern part of main land. Goryeo dynasty founded the country in Korean peninsula, Sung dynasty founded the country in the Main land. So it was formed the plural international order since the middle 10th century in the east Asia. Each dynasty struggled to take the leadership in east Asia. Many tribes and residents of foreign country who are estimated seventeen hundred thousand took refuge to Goryeo dynasty untill 12th century. Goryeo dynasty opened the doors to them and organized them the citizen of the dynasty. So the national character of Goryeo dynasty was multinational state and was different from the unitary state as we know.
