서구 질환이라고 알려진 피부암 발생률이 국내에서 10년 사이 3배 이상 증가하였다. 이를 예방하기 위해 피부암 자가진단법 인포그래픽이 사용되고 있다. 이와 같이 인포그래픽의 사용이 건강정보 분야에서도 꾸준히 늘어나고 있지만, 이에 대한 수용자 중심의 연구가 아직 미흡한 상태이다. 따라서 본 연구는 실증적 연구로서 피부암 자가진단법 인포그래픽에서 나타난 중요도와 만족도를 분석하여 건강 정보의 효율적인 시각화 방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 20대부터 증가하기 시작하는 피부암에 대한 교육을 위해 20대를 표본 집단으로 설정하여 설문조사하였다. 수집 된 데이터는 SPSS 24.0 통계프로그램을 통해 분석하였고, IPA기법을 사용하여 중요도와 만족도를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 두 사례의 모든 항목에서 중요도와 만족도 간 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났으며, 시각적 복잡성 고(높음)에서는‘연관도’와 ‘변수인지’ 두 항목에서 집중적인 개선이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 시각적 복잡서 저(낮음)에서도 ‘연관도’ 항목의 개선의 필요하다고 나타났으며, ‘명확성’항목에서는 과잉투자가 되고 있어 개선의 필요성이 제시되었다.
Abstract
For the increasing number of skin cancer patients in Korea today, various skin cancer self-examination infographics are being used as an effective method for health education. Although the use of infographics has been steadily rising in health information, there are not enough resources for audience researches. As an empirical study, this study aims to analyze the importance and satisfaction of the skin cancer self-examination infographics, to provide an effective visualization method for health information. Skin cancer increases from the age of 20, so the survey was conducted on those in their 20s. The collected data were analyzed through the SPSS 24.0 statistical program, and the importance and satisfaction were analyzed by Important Performance Analysis tool. Based on the research, all elements in both cases were found to be statistically significant between importance and satisfaction. Specifically, the high visual complexity case needs intensive improvement in ‘relationship’ and ‘variable recognition’. The low visual complexity case also needs improvement in ‘relevance’ and needs development in ‘clarity’ which was found in the overinvested area in IPA metrix.
