19세기 開城府 管理營 문서의 고문서학적 특징과 가치 - OCI 미술관 소장 고문서를 중심으로 -

Abstract

This article is the first to reveal to the public ancient documents from the Kaesong region housed at OCI Museum of Art. First, to ensure the credibility of the documents and their content, the time and the region of their creation were reviewed based on the information about the documents. In addition, the issuers, signatures, and seals of the documents were analyzed in detail. And the value as primary historical research material was examined that can be used in adjacent academic fields. The 97 documents housed at OCI Museum of Art were made by Kaesongbu Gwanliyeong Management Office in 1863. The documents were generally approved by the Naegam(內監), a warehouse official, and the following records of the Gaeseongbu Gwanliyeong Management Office prepared using these documents also remain. Some of the documents approved by the Naegam were also approved by the Bijang(裨將), and the possibility that they were the same person was suggested by examining the documents’ signatures and seals. In terms of content, the documents were divided into two categories; documents written by officials and minor officials when passing through Gaeseong, and documents written about details of expenditure from the warehouse. It was inferred that the following records were made based on these documents.
