조선후기 관아 기록 자료의 정리와 활용－충청도 홍산현 관아 사례를 중심으로－

Abstract

This paper has looked into how records and documents of cultural heritage with focus on Eupseong, the central hub of administration and culture and historic site that perserves local culture and history in Joseon Dynasty period, and traditional Government Office are organized and utilized. From the standpoint of local history and culture, the historic and cultural resources of Eupseong and the Government Office play a key role in understanding the history of the region while serving as valuable historic and cultural heritage. Despite the effort to excavate and restore traditional buildings and remnants in and around Eupseong and Government Office historic site, however, there is much to be desired when it comes to study and inspection of cultural and historical value of Eupseong and the Government Office historic site, which causes little progress in utilizing them in a way to benefit descendants. With these pending issues and tasks in mind, this paper aims to present ways to organize and utilize liberal data and information of cultural heritage with focus on Hongsanhyeon Government Office in Chungcheong Province, which includes (1) historical and cultural status of Eupseong Government Office during the Joseon Dynasty period, (2) scope and investigation of Eupseong Government Office records and documents, and (3) presentation of onsite practical data based on study on efficient utilization of resources.
