본고는 磻溪逸稿라는 신발굴 자료를 학계에 소개하면서 작성한 것이다. 반계일고는 실학의 비조로 공인된 류형원이 창작한 시편에 산문 몇 편이 첨부되어 있는 문건이다. 류형원의 저술은 磻溪隨錄이 유일한 것이었는데 지금 그의 문학적 글쓰기의 성과가 알려지게 되었다. 본고는 이 신자료를 통해서 실학 발흥의 역사적 배경 및 정신적 근원을 모색하고 아울러 실학파 문학의 단초를 이해하는 데 주안점을 두었다.
Abstract
This essay is the introductory commentaries of the newly-founded material for academic circles, Bangyeilgo(the Remaining Work of Ryu Hyongwon), which is mainly composed of Ryu’s poetry and a few of his prose. Hitherto, Ryu, the approved originator of Korean Shilhak, leaves one and only work, Bangyesurok, the Essays of Ryu Hyongwon. However, by the founding of Bangyeilgo, Ryu’s literary accomplishment is revealed. In this essay, I speculate the context and the ideological source of the Shilhak's origination through the review of the new material, and also commentate the literature of Shilhak School.
