청소년 인터넷 중독 비용분석 모형 개발을 위한 기초 연구

본 연구는 기존의 청소년 인터넷 중독 연구의 주된 흐름인 개인의 심리적 특성 및 원인분석 차원에 머물러왔던 한계를 넘어 사회적 비용 발생과 국가적 경제력 상실이라는 측면에서 사회경제적 비용분석 측정모형 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 인터넷 중독 비용분석에 대한 논의는 거의 이루어지지 않았고 비용을 분석하기 위한 방법론에 대한 논의도 아직 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 청소년 인터넷 중독 비용분석의 필요성, 분석론과 분석단계, 유형 및 항목을 제시하고 비용분석 결과를 활용함에 있어서 의의를 논하였다. 구체적으로 청소년 인터넷 중독 비용분석 방법론으로 기존의「질병비용연구」와「국제물질오남용비용추정지침」의 연구 결과와 분석 방법을 응용하여 인터넷 중독의 사회경제적 비용을 추정하는 방법을 제안하였다. 분석단계는 식별(identify), 수량화(quantify), 가치평가(value), 할인(discount)의 4단계로 제안하였으며, 청소년의 인터넷 중독의 비용유형을 개인직접비용, 개인간접비용, 외부직접비용, 외부간접비용의 4가지 유형으로 세분화하였다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 이후 청소년 인터넷 중독이 초래하는 시간적 손실 요소와 심리적, 환경적 요소의 계량화 및 개인의 노동력 및 사회적 경제활동역량 추산분석은 청소년 인터넷 중독 예방프로그램 정립과 해소정책 수립에 실질적으로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to get information to evaluate cost side by adolescents' internet addiction. This study demonstrated the necessity of the costs, the analysis theory, the analysis steps, and the analysis types and items of analysing the costs by adolescents internet addiction. To analyse the costs by adolescents' internet addiction could be used for the theories and ways which were utilized other studies such as cost-of-illness studies and international guidelines for estimating the costs of the substance abuse. The application and significance of analysing the costs by adolescents' internet addiction are as follows: 1. strenthening the public relation of internet addiction and preventive discipline, 2. establishing the integration maneuver system, 3. vitalizing preliminary studies on adolescents' internet addiction, 4. expanding institutions and tightening up the law, 5. building the community based on cooperative system.
