NCS 기반 직업윤리 학습모듈의 개선방안과 불교적 함의

Abstract

A job is more precious than anything else in life. And the essential factor in the successful performance of that precious career is the very professional ethics. Many researchers stress that the practice of ethical and moral characteristics is competitive in the 21st century. However, the NCS-based professional ethics learning modules, which should teach the ethics of the job site to the young generation who will move to the job world, has not improved many limitations. First, the 'deployment' of practical virtues is unreasonable. Secondly, there is a lack of relevance in the 'explanation' of practical virtues. Third, there is a significant 'absence' of content that must be included in the learning module. Therefore, the limitations of learning modules of such professional ethics should be improved and supplemented as follows: First, the "sense of responsibility" organized in the [community ethics] should be moved to the [work ethics] side so that the responsibility can be emphasized directly when performing the duties. Second, the "rule compliance" organized in [community ethics] should not only emphasize compliance with national law and order, but also expand the scope of the explanation to comply with the working rules and safety rules of the workplace. Third, it is necessary to supplement [contemporary professional ethics] as a new learning module in consideration of revolutionary technological changes and civilization historical transitions. It shall be explained by including ‘environmental ethics/information ethics/response ethics of the Fourth Industrial Revolution’. The various discussions on professional ethics that we have suggested are almost consistent with the words of Buddha, who preached the Noble Eightfold Path[팔정도]. The Noble Eightfold Path as the way to dissolve the suffering is Buddhist ethics, which is no different from the practice of professional ethics suggested by this paper. And so the improved professional ethics learning module, as we suggested, will be a more practical guide for all the generation of young people who will move into the work world, and especially for the Buddhist youth, will be able to recognize and practice the ethical contents as Buddha's teaching.
