先秦儒家美学已经构成了一个美学体系, 这个体系由五个范畴组成：诚, 指审美心态, 探讨的是审美主体是如何可能的；和, 指审美关系, 探讨的是审美主客体关系是如何相互作用的；乐(le), 指审美效应, 探讨的是审美主体在审美实现之后的心理反应；文, 指审美对象, 探讨的是审美对象与一般对象相比的独特性；乐(yue), 指艺术, 探讨的是艺术的本质及其作用｡
Abstract
Confucian Aesthetics has formed an aesthetic system, which consists of five categories: Honesty, meaning aesthetic attitude, investigated how aesthetic subject is possible; Harmony, referring to the aesthetic relation, explored how the aesthetic relationship between subject and object interacts; Happy(le), referring to the aesthetic effect, explored the psychological reactions after the completion of aesthetic subject’s aesthetic process; Text, referring to the aesthetic object, explored the uniqueness of aesthetic object compared with the general ones; Music(yue), referring to the arts, explored the nature and function of art.
